- 9:30 a.m.Leave 9:30 a.m. for Bandelier, about one hour each way.
- Visitor center and the flatter first part of Pueblo Loop.
- Do not include ladders or the full 1.4-mile loop in the baseline.
Afternoon
- 3 p.m.Picnic lunch, return around 3 p.m.
Taos

Morning
- 9 a.m.Leave 9 a.m. for Taos, about 90 minutes each way.
- Visit Taos Pueblo if open, with a local orientation and unhurried time.
Evening
- 5:30 p.m.Lunch on your own, Rio Grande Gorge viewpoint stop, return to Santa Fe by 5:30 p.m.
- Farewell dinner.
